La struttura di sostegno della copertura presenta un motivo architettonico che richiama alla forma del gabbiano, simbolo della cittadina di Ostia e presente sulle maglie e sui loghi della squadra Ostia Mare.
The project for the Ostia Mare Sports Center includes the redevelopment of the facilities with the renovation of the locker rooms, the stands and the creation of the public service facilities inserted in a body on which the central covered stands rest. The support structure of the roof canopy features an architectural motif reminiscent of the shape of the seagull, a symbol of the town of Ostia and featured on the jerseys and logos of the Ostia Mare football teams.
